Care-workers on the frontline, looking after patients with COVID-19, are themselves most at risk of contracting the virus. Frontline staff at GP surgeries, nursing homes, home carers, and charities providing vital services within our communities, are being left desperately short of vital supplies of PPE.  Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been an ever-increasing demand from both from the NHS and from people who would not normally need to use PPE.

Some teams have placed orders from their usual suppliers, but have not received their face shields yet. They continue to provide care.

Some teams would not usually need face shields to do their work, and they are suddenly having to source them. When they need to move fast, we are here to help them at short notice. We are local and we can move fast.

Many thousands of vulnerable workers, volunteers, care home residents and social care staff are at risk of falling ill as they look after people in our communities. Face-shields provide vital protection for those care-workers, reducing the risk of contamination and minimising further spread of the virus. Let’s take this one worry away from the health and care teams in Devon and Somerset.
"How kind of you to offer us face shields. You are doing a great job, thank you for supporting those of us in the front line of the fight against Covid-19" PPE Recipient

"Fantastic! I have just placed an order for 25 face shields. Thank you so much for your efforts" PPE Recipient

"We would absolutely love some if you are happy to donate, we are a fairly small home with a staff group of 20, so if this would be possible we would be so so very grateful" PPE Recipient
